The weird aspects of a Buffet-Crampon saxophone I repaired for a customer.
Right hand pinky table has 3 keys with linkages to the bell keys, and left hand also links to low C.
The most absurd D/Eb trill key (first picture). Alternate D# palm key (for right hand! Second picture).
Cork bumpers for bell keys.
A key which is attached independently from top stack.
Pivot rods independent from pivot screws. And finally some thick tone holes.
This is the weirdest instrument that I have seen so far. I enjoy these. More please.
