Pad Work

Good pad work is of course a major contributor to instrument tone and it’s playability. It is a very tricky thing to do perfectly right, as I strive to make the pad hit all places on the tone hole at the exact same time so that the player never has to over-compress (even slightly) to compensate for ‘good enough’ pad work.

Customers are able to choose between standard tan pads or white, black, or brown RooPads. Kangaroo leather does not stick and has a very long life because of it’s strength.
