Mike has done quite a few repairs and cosmetic customizations on a number of my brass instruments. For my sousaphone and my euphonium he crafted beautiful wooden key caps out of purpleheart and ebony respectively. I bought a bass trombone that, by all rights, should be unplayable even in mint condition. He made its sticky, poorly crafted valves function as though they belong on a horn of far higher quality. His repair work is always done promptly, professionally, and with great precision while always being a pleasure to interact with. Over all, a fantastic craftsman with whom I highly recommend trusting any brass or woodwind repairs.
